Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner...

I have been thinking about getting my husband an electric smoker for a while now....and lets just say Christmas was the time!!! By far one of the BEST cooking investments EVER.

I started out by seasoning chicken leg quarters with salt and pepper.

Set the temp on the electric smoker to 175.

I soaked the hickory wood chips overnight in apple juice.

Once the seasoning and preheating steps are done, put the chicken right on the rack and the wood chips in the smoke drawer, set the timer for 7 hours and DON'T touch it! Just add more wood chips as the others burn out.

SO JUICY, FALL OFF THE BONE, SLID DOWN LIKE BUTTER!!!!!!

We bought a "Smoke Hollow" smoker from our local Sam's Club. 129.00$ you really can't beat that, and it has wheels if you want to move it!!!
